DESCRIPTION
All V2 XL type roller skis are designed with monolithic wheel forks that protect the shaft and contain the stainless steel hardware for mounting the patented Brakes and Speed Reducers. The forks now have fenders and include the wheel alignment lever. On the original XL forks the fenders had to be optional.
Our local supplier now has the most advanced metal fabricating equipment made. There are only five of the latest Japanese metal forming machines in United States and our supplier has two of them. With the availability of more automated forming we were able to design new wheel forks that incorporate fenders and still accept the Brakes and Speed Reducers.
A ski that Zach Caldwell and others are presently testing uses a new Jenex developed composite structure that is lighter than the conventional carbon ski.
